The Cologne Cathedral is the largest and most visited site in Germany. This giant Cathedral, that took centuries to complete, was once the tallest building in the world and remains the world’s largest Gothic cathedral. This church withstood 14 aerial bombs during the air raids of WWII and is part of the famous Cologne skyline. Inside of the church are many precious relics including a golden box which is said to hold the remains of the Three Wise Men.
Some of the attractions for visitors include a visit to the church treasury and a 533 step climb up the church tower.
