You can basically experience multiple events in each country every weekend ranging from music festivals to traditional events with a long history. Here, we focus on a larger scale and select top 10 of those which cannot be missed!
1/ Easter Markets
Dozens of stands offering beautiful Easter decorations, handicrafts, and culinary treats cover most of European cities and towns each spring. Enjoy folk music concerts, take part in some crazy traditions and bring back home the best memories.

Springfest or Frühlingsfest in German is the first massive celebration of beer of the year! This festival is often referred to as “Oktoberfest's little sister” and well… it depends on what you call little - tens of thousands of people dressed in dirndls and lederhosen, two enormous beer tents, beer gardens, an amusement park, plenty for pretzel and sausage stands, live music, fireworks, and a Saturday flea market.

3/ Witch Burning (Walpurgis Night)
It's a last April's day festival widely celebrated in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and some Northern European countries. Depending on the area, you can look forward to seeing huge bonfires (in the Czech Republic up to 26 ft tall) on the top of the hills, fire shows, lantern parades, concerts and other festivities.

The Mozart Festival Würzburg is one of the most well-known festivals of classical music in the German-speaking world. Around 30K people visit more than 50 indoor and open-air concerts there annually.

5/ Karlovy Vary International Film Festival
KVIFF is an A-list film event which can't be missed by any cinema addict. You can watch over 200 movies from all over the world, meet important filmmakers, take a selfie with famous actors or visit one of the opulent parties each year!

A half million of people from almost a hundred different countries visit this week-long event annually, making it one of Europe´s largest music and cultural festivals. It introduces around a thousand pop, world, rock, metal, electronic music and genres´ performers.
August 8 - 15, 2018
The largest folk and beer fest in the world attracts over 6-7 million people every year (that´s 85 times more than Superbowl). Last year´s statistics say that all these people had almost 7 million stein beers (1 liter), a 100K liters of wine, 500K chickens, 150K pairs of pork sausages, 75K shanks and much more… Don´t miss out on the best festival for adults, you will have stories to tell for years! September 22 - October 7, 2018
The wild jangling of bells, shaggy pelts, curved horns and terrifying masks - that´s Krampus, the scariest event of the whole year which takes place in Austria, Bavaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Northern Italy, Slovakia and Slovenia on the eve of St. Nicolas Day. The most frightening parades can be traditionally seen in alpine cities, towns, and villages:
