Day 1: Arrival to Prague

Upon arrival at Prague airport, one of our drivers will meet you and drive you to your centrally located hotel. Following check-in, head out and begin discovering Prague with the help of your detailed full itinerary. Visit the Old Town Square with highlights including the Astronomical Clock and Tyn Church. In the evening, one of our guides will meet you and take you on a short tour through the Old Town Square before embarking on an relaxing cruise along the Vltava, a great introduction to the city of Prague!

Day 2: Private walking tour & sightseeing

This morning our local guide will meet you and take you on a half day private walking tour of many of Prague's highlights. Following the historical "Royal Route", you'll get a chance to walk across Charles Bridge, visit the charming Little Quarter and end at Prague Castle.

In the afternoon you are free to further explore the Castle district and its interior staterooms, Golden Lane and St Vitus Cathedral or head back down to the Little Quarter where you can visit the famous John Lennon Wall, Kampa Park, St Nicolas Church that dominates the centre square (Malostranska) or even take a relaxing stroll around the Wallenstein Palace Gardens.

Day 3: Prague's Jewish Quarter & New Town

Today you are free to explore Prague using your detailed travel itinerary and the detailed directions included to discover the city's historical Jewish Quarter, Vysehrad and the New Town. Highlights include the Jewish Cemetary and Spanish Synaogue, the beautiful Basilica of St Peter and St Paul in Vysehrad and the varied shops, architecture and restaurants in the vibrant New Town.

Day 4: Bus Journey to Cesky Krumlov

Today a driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to the bus station where you will board a comfortable coach for your 3 hour journey to the south of the Czech Republic for your overnight stay in Cesky Krumlov. Explore its dominating castle tand the five beautiful courtyards and enjoy the views overthe small town below.

In the late afternoon, discover all that Cesky Krumlov has to offer.on a private guided walking tour. Wander its fairytale cobbled streets, gaze at its abundance of medeival and Renaissance architecture and see how many of the five pettaled crests you can spot throughout the town.

Day 5: Journey to Vienna by Shuttle, Boat & Train

Today you'll make an epic scenic journey from Cesky Krumlov to Vienna by shuttle, boat and train. In the morning our driver will collect you and take you to the quaint town of Melk. Your driver willl continue to Vienna with your bags which will be waiting for you when you check in.

From Melk, you can enjoy a fantastic 22 mile cruise along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Danube to the town of Krems. You will pass Medieval castles, hills covered in vineyards, charming villages, and picturesque abbeys. Once you complete the cruise, you can visit the historic town of Krems, and then travel onto Vienna by train, where our detailed travel directions will bring you to your hotel front door.

In the evening, explore the Spitelberg area and its myriad of restaurants, street bars, galleries and boutique shops.

Day 6: Vienna Sightseeing

Begin your day with a private guided walking tour of Vienna's Inner City with one of our knowledgable local guides. Learn about the humble beginnings of Vienna before it became the capital of a great empire and one of the most important cities in Europe and explore the famous St Stephens Cathedral and admire its unique rooftop.

In the afternoon discover the heart of Imperial Vienna with a visit to the Hofburg Palace. Explore the 500 year old Spanish Riding School, which stages equestrian performances by the famous Lipizzaner Stallions, the imperial apartments or browse through the imperial silver collection.

Day 7: Schonbrunn Palace

Set out this morning and head towards one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, the Schonbrunn Palace, most famously associated to the Empress Maria Theresa. Explore the many staterooms, its formal grounds and spectacular gardens and if you have children, don't miss its fantastic zoo.

In the afternoon, return to the centre of Vienna and visit the Hundertwasserhaus and the nearby Prater, known for its ferris wheel and amusement park.

Day 8: Day Trip to Bratislava

Today you'll visit one of Europe's youngest capital cities, Bratislava. Take the train to Bratislava and spend the day exploring its small but charming Old Town with its medieval buildings, baroque palaces and pretty churches. To cap off your visit to Bratislava, in summer months you can return to Vienna by boat on the Danube River.

Day 9: Naschmarkt & Train Journey to Budapest

Explore even more of Vienna's highlights today with the use of your detailed itinerary. Explore the long Naschmarkt in the morning filled with a delightful variety of booths and small shops selling cheeses, meats, fresh fruits & vegetables, spices, and other exotic foods from around the world.

You can also find souvenirs and other interesting tidbits. In the afternoon, take a taxi to the train station for your journey to Budapest. Upon arrival our driver will take you directly to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a cruise along the Danube as you admire many of Budapest's grand buildings from the river.

Day 10: Private Guided Walking Tour & Sightseeing

Our local and knowledgable guide will meet you at your hotel this morning and take you on a half day private guided walking tour of Budapest's highlights. During your tour you will take in a gorgeous vista of the city from the Fisherman’s Bastion, explore the winding streets of the Castle District, gaze in awe at the striking interior of St. Stephen’s Basilica, travel along the city’s most elegant avenue with the help of Europe’s oldest subway, and more. In the afternoon further explore the castle district and visit the famous thermal baths of Gellert or if you're feeling super energized, hike to the top of Gellert Hill for breath-taking city views.

Day 11: Budapest Sightseeing

Use your detailed itinerary today to discover the historical Jewish Quarter this morning, with highlights including the Great Synagogue and the Holocaust Memorial. In the afternoon travel by train to the little, cobblestoned town of Szentendre, charmingly nestled alongside the Danube River.

Day 12: Budapest Sightseeing

Visit one of Budapest's most iconic buildings this morning, the Hungarian Parliament building. Visits to the interior can be made on a guided tour, where you will see a spectacular grand staircase, the historic Holy Crown of Hungary, an imposing debating chamber, and much more.

In the afternoon, you are free to take a walk along the most famous avenue in Budapest, known for its neo-Renaissance palaces and buildings, including several museums. This includes the superb House of Terror Museum, which focuses on the horrors inflicted by totalitarian regimes in the 20th century. Late afternoon, you can visit Heroes Square and take a dip in the largest of Budapest's thermal bath houses, the Széchenyi Baths.

Day 13: Departure from Budapest

Today you say goodbye to Budapest and journey home. Our driver will collect you from your hotel and take your directly to the airport at your chosen departure time.
